Best Luxury Hotels in Thailand

Luxury hotels are advertised everywhere, including in the fine print of your credit card agreement. But a “true” luxury hotel must deliver on that promise, as most high-paying customers deserve to expect higher standards. In fact, there are actually no set criteria for “luxury hotels” or for “five-star hotels.” That’s why some five-star reviewed resorts can be considered “luxurious,” while others are not. The quality of service is the same whether you’re calling a luxury hotel or a five-star hotel. What makes a hotel a five-star, then, is the level of personal service and hospitality it shows to its guests, whether they are paying an additional fee or not.

In my opinion, Thailand is currently home to some of the best luxury resorts in the world. I recently stayed at the worlds’ only fully-stabled, world-class Bangkok hotel, which also happens to be one of the most luxurious hotels in the entire world. The place was gorgeous, and it had everything I would ever want from a luxury resort. It was quiet, clean, and quite unlike any other luxury resort I’ve ever been to. And, if you are looking for an ultimate escape from the outside world and from the hustle and bustle of city life, then staying at the best Bangkok hotel is absolutely essential.

At one time, I actually made a list of the top ten destinations in the world, but then changed course. I listed things like beautiful beaches, fantastic food, exciting nightlife, etc. This resort features in my top 10 lists of the best luxury hotels in Asia, mainly because it offers amazing views of the bay. When I first got there, I actually got lucky enough to watch an interesting show on Thai television. The entire bay is literally in front of the hotel, and this gives a very unique perspective of the region.

This resort features in my top 10 lists the best hotels in Asia, mainly because of its unusual and beautiful beachfront setting. You can almost feel the sun on your face every day, as the sun rises over the horizon and sets below you. If you like being on the beach, then this is a perfect place for you to stay. There is also a great variety of accommodation options available here, from beachside villas, bungalow bungalows, to cosy holiday apartments.

If you like eating out a lot, then Phuket will be your choice. I love going to Phuket with my family, especially when we take a day trip to nearby Patong Beach. Just a short taxi ride away, we can stop at one of the many authentic Phuket restaurants that serve some of the best Thai food in town. My favorite restaurant in Phuket is Maenam, which has an awesome Thai theme, with colorful decoration and delicious Thai dishes on the menu.

I am a huge fan of the Orchard Road Station Hotel group, so I had to include them in my top ten best hotels in Asia. This hotel is located right on the avenue, and it instantly felt comfortable as soon as I stepped inside. You can easily see the finest examples of twentieth century art along the way up to the third floor. Once inside, the concierge immediately greeted me and offered to show me the best places to go on the mall. A truly luxurious experience, I was ready to book my next stay for the next couple of weeks!

I’m not much of a visitor to Thailand anymore, but once every few months I would really like to go to this place. On my last visit to Phuket, I made sure to add this legendary resort to my list, and book a room in the Raffles Grand hotel as my complimentary VIP package. The hotel offers complimentary VIP treatment and also includes a free bottle of champagne upon your first arrival.

These are only a few of the top luxury resorts that are in Thailand, and I invite you to check out my official website to see the complete list.
